Before using prednisolone rectal make sure your doctor or pharmacist knows:

If you are pregnant, trying for a baby or breast-feeding. If you are suffering from an infection. If you or anyone in your family have chickenpox or measles. If you are due to have any holiday injections. If you have osteoporosis (weak bones). If you suffer from high blood pressure, or any heart problems. If you have had tuberculosis. If you have liver or kidney problems. Past or present mental health problems, diabetes mellitus, glaucomaIf you suffer from epilepsy, stomach problems or hypothyroisism (low levels of thyroxine in your blood).

Keep your regular appointments so that your progress may be monitored. Do not stop using unless directed by your doctor- s/he may ask you to reduce the use of this medication slowly.

Can prednisolone rectal cause problems?
